Photos, memes and videos are the best ways of getting people to like your Facebook page. They can help you show off your products, services ,brand and so on. Facebook’s photo & video upload function is really easy to use .If you’ve just created a page, consider adding introduction photos and videos of yourself. Facebook loves video- especially Facebook Live. The first couple of times you do it can be a bit scary but you soon get into the swing of it and the rewards for your page will be awesome as a result.

2. Use the “Like" tool on your website/blog

3. Be consistent

Another tip on how to grow your page is to show consistency in posting and interacting. This does not necessarily mean that you stay logged on the whole day, but your fans do need to know you’re there. Simply come up with a schedule and remain consistent.

4. Monitor your page

Even when you’re not logged on it’s imperative that you are aware of what is happening on your page and respond appropriately (for example delete spam or respond to feedback.) The best way to do this is via email notifications .

5. Promote your page on other social media sites

If you have accounts on Twitter, LinkedIn or other major sites, be sure to share links to your Facebook page. That way, your curious followers on the other sites can find & connect with you.

7. Organize contests

Every once in a while, have your fans compete to win something. It can be a discount coupon, a sample of your newest product, or just something simple. No one hates free things so you can expect more and more people to like your page. Just ask people to like your page and share your post to be in with a chance of winning your prize.

8. Advertise on Facebook

One of the best ways to get page likes it to boost a blog post on your Facebook page. When I say 'boost' a post I mean pay for your post to be seen by an audience outwith your current friends on your Facebook page.
Always boost content that will provide value to people who will like your page. Never boost products you want to sell as you will get no or very few page likes.

9. Ask questions

Apart from posting valuable content and information about your offerings, you can ask your fans simple questions like fill in the blanks/true or false questions. Give them a quick and easy way to participate.

10. Write a blog post about your page

If you have a blog, consider blogging about your Facebook page. Try to show people why they should like your page and offer incentives like a free download for anyone who likes the page.

7 Social Media Myths Busted Wide Open

Social media marketing is crucial for any business success.

It's such a powerful promotional tool that allows us to engage, interact and build a relationship with our audiences and potential customers.

Yet, there are still businesses that hesitate to get stuck in because of myths associated with it.

READ MORE: How to use Facebook Live in your business to grow your brand and make more sales

Social networking is more than just a pastime that involves random tweeting on Twitter or commenting on blogs and posting Facebook status updates.

Here are 7 social media myths we are going to bust wide open:

1. Unless you are on every social media network, you can't succeed

This alone puts off most business owners because the time investment is significant. Spreading yourself thin over a number of sites without specific goals and action can indeed be a waste of resources. Rather than the number of networks, it is more about how the business leverages and uses a particular network to get results. It is best to focus on one network at a time, get established and then proceed to the next. My advice is to start with Facebook.

2. It can substitute direct marketing

The fact is, while social media is certainly popular, it can never replace direct marketing. Online networking is convenient but human interaction is always preferred.

3. If you use social media you don't need a website

Websites are a necessary component of any businesses online presence. No matter how many social networks you belong to, publishing to a website or at least a blog is mandatory and there is a solid reason why. Content is the acknowledged King that drives search traffic. You need a website to host all your amazing content because Google won't recognize the SEO on your social media networks.

Even if you have profiles on many networks, the ultimate aim is to motivate people to visit your website where there is unique content. A website is a branding tool where you can control your content, display and sell your products and services. You own your website and complement it with your social media presence so that you can reach your prospective customers.

4. ROI cannot be measured

In business, it is important to monitor and measure the return on investment for every activity in order to be profitable. Social media ROI can be measured using analytics tools through which visitors and their actions can be tracked. This helps you decide on what to focus on and which links are most active. If you have a business page on Facebook then click on the 'Insights' tab at the top of your page to view your stats.

5. It is too time-consuming

Social media marketing can be achieved by just dedicating a few minutes a day and using social media schedulers to plan and schedule posts. It is about the effective use of various tools to use it to your advantage. A good free social media scheduling tool is Hootsuite.com and it's easy to use.

6. It is not suitable for our business

Any business that intends to succeed, build its brand, attract new customers needs social media as part of their marketing plan.

7. My customers don't use it

That's ridiculous. Customers, new and old are on social networks. It is where people connect. and receive information these days and by thinking your customers aren't using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram could really hamper your business growth.

To be a success on social media it takes research, active participation, dedicated effort and a commitment to a strong strategy. You won't become an expert overnight and I'm urging you not to stress about it.

3 Big Tips On Creating Content That Gets Lots of Likes

It is just a simple fact that mediocre content will achieve mediocre results.

When a prospect has taken the time to read your article or post it is crucial that they are engaged by what you are telling them.

Some entrepreneurs are just naturally talented at putting words together in a certain way to achieve targeted results, while others will need to work a little harder to achieve the same results. If you fall into the latter category don't be discouraged. There are a few things to keep in mind when you are in the process of creating new content that is sure to step up your game.

READ MORE: How to go from being a dreamer to a successful entrepreneur

Even if you have little to no writing experience, an enticing title and informative content works wonders to build an audience and gain the likes that you are after.

1. Good Title?
The title of your content is the very first impression that your readers will see. That makes it a very important piece in the puzzle of good content creation.

A solid title will get a second look more often than not if it is seen by your targeted audience. Because we all have different interests and tastes, there is no "one size fits all" style of title, but 2 make up the majority. If you are writing an article for a medical magazine your title would need to be professional with little to no personal expression involved. But if you are in a more casual writing environment, coming off too professional will not be as engaging as it would be if your title was intriguing, funny or has some sort of shock value. You can think of it as one style of reader is straight to the point, the other is usually looking for a more entertaining atmosphere.

2. Let the Content flow!
A lot of time some business owners will try to copy another writer's style or try to come off as being knowledgeable about topics that they are not. It is best to consistently be improving on your own style and write on topics that you are familiar with.

If you compare an article that you write on a topic that you aren't educated on and an article on something that you are passionate about and have experienced first hand, you will probably notice that the second one mentioned will flow better and will reflect more of your individual style. You will enjoy your writing more and you will achieve more favorable results in a shorter time frame.

3. Don't Forget to Like......
So, you have racked your brain to come up with an eye catching title and have put a true effort in creating engaging content, all in the hopes of getting your content read and liked. You have done all of this work, now give your readers a call to action. Whether it be a like you are after or a new subscriber, take the time to ask that they show there appreciation by whatever action you are wanting them to take. It sounds very simple, but you would be amazed at how many people don't bother to make this small request.

It takes time to be awesome at creating Online content, however, keep practicing and make sure you are constantly monitoring what type of content is working well for your business and is getting the most engagement then just simply create more of it.

Soon enough you will get into a content flow and you will be able to create a formula that works well for your business.

9 Ways to Find Killer Ideas for Your Next eCourse

1/23/2017

Here’s the number one question I hear—not only from new product creators, but even from seasoned business owners: “How do I find a good idea?”

What they really mean, of course, is “How do I find an idea that will sell?” No one wants to spend days or weeks or more planning, developing and launching a course only to hear crickets on the big day. You want to know you’ll have at least some measure of success.

4 Proven Ways to Market Your Business

But don’t overthink it. The answer is simple. Just give your audience what they are asking for.

Check out the competition
. What are they creating? If you serve a similar audience, then what sells for them will very likely sell for you. Now, before you break out the “But it’s already been done!” line, keep this in mind: No two entrepreneurs are alike. You may create a similar course, but your voice, your experience, your teaching style, and your personality are all very different. No one else is you, and for some customers, YOU are the only one who will resonate with them.

Pay attention to your ideal client
. What questions do they ask in private groups, in your help desk, and elsewhere? What posts are they reading on your blog (check your Google Analytic stats)? These are all valuable sources of intel about exactly what they need and wants from you

READ MORE: 4 Proven Ways to Market Your Business

Ask. Still not sure what your dream client is looking for? Ask them. Create a survey and ask them to tell you what they struggle with, what keeps them from realizing their success, and even what they've tried before in an effort to solve their issues.

Check the bestsellers list. Which books in your niche are outperforming others? These are the ones that offer answers your clients are seeking. Flip through the table of contents and read the online reviews to dig deep into the topics that really resonate with your audience.

Read the FAQs. Check the frequently asked questions section on competitor blogs and in forums and Facebook groups. Also check blogs for “Start Here,” and “Quickstart” pages. Many times the most common questions and concerns are addressed here.

Review the available resources. Which are the most common resources your colleagues and competitors are recommending? There are often questions surrounding the use of software and other tools, and these can be great ideas for eCourses.

READ MORE: 4 Proven Ways to Market Your Business

Check your email. If you’ve been in business for more than a few months, chances are you receive questions from friends, clients and even strangers on a daily basis. What are they asking about? Look for common themes and trends.

Revisit your keyword research. Review the terms and phrases that your community most frequently searches on, and use them as a basis for your own research.

Check your search terms. Google Webmaster Tools allows you to check which terms are sending visitors to your website. Since people often search on questions (“how to design a logo” or “how to start a business”) this can be a rich source of ideas.

Ideas are everywhere. Your potential buyers are sharing them with you each and every day, if you just know where to look. So don’t let your insecurities hold you back. Develop the course they are asking you for.

4 Proven Ways to Market Your Business

The world is filled with great ideas and broke business owners with fabulous products but no sales.

The fact is, ideas are not what drives most business success. Marketing does. So before you quit your day job to branch out on your own, it pays to have a solid marketing plan in place. Start with these 4 ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

Free Webinars
For information product sellers, coaches, and service providers, one of the best sources of new clients is in free training webinars. No matter what your niche, the promise of in-depth training at no cost is enough to entice potential clients to part with an email address (which you’ll be able to market to later) and an hour of their time.

Not only that, but webinars are a fantastic way for those potential customers to get to know you better. And the better they know you, the more likely they are to buy.

Content Marketing
Not comfortable hosting a webinar? Hit the keyboard and start sharing your thoughts and ideas via your blog, ebooks, guest articles and other written content. For internet marketers, this gives readers a taste of what they can expect from your product. If you sell physical products, it provides the perfect opportunity to share usage tips and other important information with your buyers.

Of course, there’s another important benefit to content marketing, too: search engine optimization. Google and other search engines index the words on your website and use the information to present search results to their users. Content marketing is a tool you can use to make the most of these results, and to bring more potential buyers to your website.

Paid Advertising
Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google and plenty of other sites all offer paid placement, and with today’s powerful analytics tools, it’s easy to create ads and drive traffic inexpensively. Consider starting with Facebook, since the cost is low and it’s easy to target your ads to your ideal client. Once you’ve perfected your funnel, you can branch out into more costly ads with a larger reach, such as Google AdWords or another ad network.

Facebook Live
However, by far my favourite way to market a business at the moment is by using Facebook Live. Yes it can be scary getting in front of a camera but I guarantee you once you have done it a few times it will become a lot easier. With Facebook Lives your clients can see your face and get to know you in a way they never will through a blog post or meme. Plus, Facebook will show more of your followers on your business page your Facebook Live that they will ever show any of your other posts. And it's FREE.

Don’t limit yourself to these four marketing methods though. There are dozens of others you can try, including affiliate programs, JV partnerships, automated funnels, direct mail campaigns, and even television advertising. The key is to keep testing and tweaking to make the most of every marketing effort, so that your business continues to grow.
